-The bowl is rectangular and made of marble. It is very heavy. The marble has warmer tones that give the color more of an ivory feel.
-It's in good shape! There are scratches and markings from age and use, but this is still a stunning and functional piece. I love the idea of using this as a dramatic catch all, or centerpiece on a table.
