-They are made of genuine alabaster and were hand carved in Italy. They were made in the 1960s.
-They're heavy! the alabaster is solid and these are meant to be heavy duty bookends.
-They're in good condition with some signs of wear and tear. There are some spots of chipping and damage, but there is so much life left in these beauties! The price reflects the damage.
